New Guild Missions. With Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns, guilds will be able to run two entirely new major categories of guild missions. PvP guild missions will allow guild teams to compete in PvP to earn guild favor, and WvW guild missions will allow guilds to band together to conquer and hold objectives in WvW to earn guild favor. Next idea - use War rooms, as a place to maintain server strategy, so it would be visible as interactive map to alliance and alliance commanders. This would 1) open a whole new potential for "general-commanders" in the "global, alliance strategy", and 2) hugely boost the usability of war room itself. Shoot your opinions and ideas guys!

Individual player housing is quite limited and is more a place for resource nodes that you can collect. It can be fun for a completionist but the average player may find it lacking. The guild halls are much more involved and are more guild housing. There is actually a lot of customization here in terms of decorations.
Guild halls are areas for guilds to play, battle, socialize, and progress together. Once owned, they can be quickly accessed from anywhere in the game via the guild panel.
Nope. You still have the super restrictive decoration system. The order of fixes needs to be: Guild Arena has WvW ruleset, which is the gamemode where player vs player experiences happen in the same gear as PvE. The guild hall should just be classed as a WvW map, so your template and build swaps accordingly. Regardless if you like WvW or not
Regarding new restructured WvW it would be awesome to be able to hold trainings in Guild Halls (for guild/alliance members), regarding objectives use, strength of siege, tacivators, movement etc. This being said, it would be great to have some training ground in GH with similar stuff like Arena, but for WvWvW!

Guild level is a prerequisite for guild upgrades. The structural upgrades: Mine Excavation (1,2,3); Arena, Market, Tavern, Workshop, War Room Restoration (1,2); Notary upgrades: Hall, Portal and Further Exploration offer 100 GXP. Each completed minor upgrade generates 35 GXP.
Guild halls were only in the Battle Isles in GW1 after Factions came out. During Prophecies, when there was one PvE map, the guild halls were on Tyria. However, unlike GW1 guild halls, GW2 guild halls are part of the open world and not their own instances. No, they are not. They are instances. But huge, shared ones.
Title. In normal maps fishing holes respawn every 10 min. In guild halls they're either capped at 10 holes or they don't respawn. Happened in Lost Precipice.

1. Posted March 14, 2022. We are a small guild of 15, with 3-4 regular players. We were more than hyped that we could finally obtain a guild hall after years. But, alas, the timer issue always got us. ANET should add-on an extra 3-5 minutes per boss kill, so the time is still challenging yet doable for 2-4 people.
Starting the Guild Hall Claiming Expedition. To start the Expedition, make sure you have 100 gold and 150 favor first. Favor can be earned via guild missions. Head to the Guild Initiative Headquarters in Lion’s Arch and talk to one of the two NPCs. One of them is for the Lost Precipice and the other is for Gilded Hollow.
Guild Wars 2 Discussion. Guild Halls are useful for the express purpose of maxing out Guild Hall Upgrades. This is because WvW, PvP, and PvE can all benefit, to some degree or another, from having a maxed guild hall; whether that be the 15% waypoint discount in PvE, or the siege tactics in WVW.
Fishing nodes in guild halls are limited to 30.After catching your 30th fish all nodes will despawn. Each guild hall location has it's own cap.You can catch 30 fishes in Lost Precipies and catch another 30 fishes in Isle of Reflection.If you switch to the same guild hall but from another guild, the cap is the same.
